This includes hardware (such as Point of Sale terminals, computers and printers) as well as software enabling checkouts in the physical and virtual worlds. Commerce Systems are often built around an accounting system which includes a General Ledger, and can form an integral component within broader company systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning software.
